Magic makeover at Mövenpick Hotel Doha

, 7th October 2011

Mövenpick Hotel Doha has renovated all its 154 rooms and suites, providing a contemporary look for today’s savvy business travellers.

The four-month makeover has transformed the hotels’ rooms and suites into even more comfortable, stylish and technologically advanced living spaces that elegantly combine sophistication and functionality.

Using luxurious fabrics in rich tones for the curtains and carpets, as well as bright, vibrant colours for the walls, has cast a warm and inviting sensation upon the rooms. The in-room technological features now include large LCD TVs and high-speed wired and wireless internet access.

The second phase, due to commence shortly includes changing the concept, name and décor of the “Piano Piano Bar”, restyling “Seasons”, the hotel’s main restaurant, as well as launching a new casual dining outlet.

“This transformation brought fresh energy to the property and has given the rooms and suites a contemporary modern style with an understated elegance,” said Fabien Chesnais, General Manager of Mövenpick Hotel Doha.

Chief Executive Officer of Qatar National Hotels
added: “The continued developments at the Mövenpick Hotel Doha is a high priority for QNH as we are committed to driving forward the country’s regeneration as well as helping our owned hotels improve their competitiveness and productivity. as contributing to the vibrancy of the local community.”
