Within the Arabian Travel Market 2012, His Excellency Sheikh Nawaf bin Jassim bin Jabor Al-Thani, Chairman of Katara Hospitality, met on Monday 30th of April 2012 with His Highness Prince Sultan Bin Salman Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, President and Chairman of the Board, the Saudi Commission for Tourism & Antiquities during a meeting hosted at the exhibition stand of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The discussions during the meeting revolved around warm friendship relationship and strong economic bi-lateral ties between the two countries. His Excellency Sheikh Nawaf discussed the latest developments of Katara Hospitality which has launched its new name and expansion plans taking advantage of the international platform provided by the ATM, in addition to investment and economic issues and ways of strengthening the tourism industry in both countries. He also suggested ways in which Qatar can participate in exploring hotel related investment projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
