Katara Hospitality employees team up for their annual ‘Family Fun Day’

Katara Hospitality, the global hotel owner, developer and operator based in Qatar, hosted over 100 Doha based employees and their families at the company’s annual Family Fun Day this weekend.


As part of Katara Hospitality’s commitment to the all-round development of its employees, this year’s annual event was held at Katara Hospitality’s Sealine Beach Resort in Qatar.


The day kicked off early in the morning towards Sealine where the management team of the resort warmly welcomed their colleagues from Katara Hospitality with a delightful breakfast buffet set amid the beautifully manicured gardens. Fun company branded accessories were distributed before the day’s activities began.


The event was an opportunity for colleagues from different departments to interact and bond outside their workplace. An exciting line-up of talent shows, water sports, rides, and competitive interdepartmental games kept the crowds entertained throughout the day.


While some relaxed in the peacefulness of their surroundings listening to the tunes of the skilled DJ, others enjoyed a pre-lunch swim or a short horse or camel ride. There was plenty in store for the younger crowd; face painting, bouncy castle, cotton candy, and various games coordinated by PETE; the company’s employee engagement committee.

Activities were followed by a delicious luncheon spread on the beach and the day’s festivities wrapped up with team and family photo sessions, raffle draw and the distribution of valuable prizes. The grand prize saw one lucky winner granted to a higher privilege club membership tier, and two lucky winners received return Economy Class tickets to any of over 140 online destinations of Qatar Airways, the Official Airline and Exclusive Airline Partner for this event.
